The permanent, annual, and rotating exhibitions showcased at the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History bring to life African-American culture and art. The museum has four permanent exhibitions: the Lucy Craft Laney Exhibition; Alice Davis Collection; Pilgrim Health & Life Insurance Collection; and Augusta Ebony Legacy Exhibition, an exciting visual history of the contributions African-Americans with an Augusta connection have made to the city, state, and the world. Annual exhibitions featured include the Women’s History Month, Photography, Quilt, and Doll Exhibitions. Special Exhibitions consist primarily of works from outstanding emerging, local and national African-American artists. The museum also hosts an Annual Black Heritage Gala in February and a Golf Tournament and Golf Exhibition in May.
