Topic: Past & Present of Kidney Disease in African Americans.
Our featured speaker for the March 13th Community Luncheon is Dr. Sharica Brookins. Sharica Brookins, M.D., FASN, is a board-certified Nephrologist & Internist licensed in Georgia. Dr. Brookins graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science, followed by Meharry Medical College with a Doctorate of Medicine. After completing her Nephrology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University, she relocated to Augusta, Georgia, to practice as the first & only Black Nephrologist in Augusta.
Dr. Brookins is the Founder & CEO of Remote Renal Care, a telehealth kidney practice providing care to Georgia since 2018. Deadline to RSVP and pay is Monday, March 11th
