The Perfect Gift: The African American Organ Transplantation Project
The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History Senior Luncheon Series for October featured “The Perfect Gift,” a photography exhibition highlighting African American organ transplant recipients, living organ donors and the families of deceased organ donors. The series of black and white portraits were taken by visual storyteller Johnny Crawford in association with LifeLink Foundation, Inc.
Guest Panelists were Adrianna Thomas, Education Specialist; Sherlonda Williams, Kidney Recipient; Frankie Simon, a Donor’s Mom.
