09 Jul Summer Camp was Awesome!
June 21 – 26, 2021
The children had a fun-filled summer art camp in June. Destiny Smith did a great job as Camp Manager and Professional Artist, Salonika, did an awesome job teaching art classes for each session. Each camper created their own art project and proudly displayed them at the end of camp. At the culmination of camp, a Time Capsule was buried in the museum gardens and will not be opened until June 2046! Summer Camper, Patrick A. Cummings, Jr., assisted Leon Maben, Museum Board Vice-President, with digging the hole and burying the time capsule. We are depending on Patrick and other campers to come back in June 2046 to assist with retrieving the time capsule.
