On September 4th and 5th, the Laney Museum hosted two days of events to recognize the 109th birthday of the late Frank Yerby, Augusta native and world-reknown author. Thursday, September 4th, writer Cheryl Corbin and Paine College professor Jeffrey Jones hosted a book discussion on Yerby’s 1971 historical novel “The Dahomean”, also known as “The Man from Dahomey”. This was held at the Frank Yerby House on the campus of Paine College.
