Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, in conjunction with Augusta University’s Institutional Review Board Office, is pleased to announce the topic for the August Community Luncheon: Barriers to Research Participation.
The Museum is hosting a community luncheon and panel fostering open dialogue between researchers and community members. The mission is to build trust, enhance research inclusivity, and address health disparities.
Those attending the panel will include Drs. Malcolm Bevel and Darryl Nettles of the Georgia Cancer Center, Drs. Teal Benevides and Jessica Stewart of Augusta University, and Drs. Marlo Vernon, Samantha Jones, and Christy Ledford of MCG.
