Every time Queenie Lawton came to the museum it was like a ray of sunshine had entered the building. A big supporter of the Lucy Craft Laney Museum, she loved her dear friend, Mrs. Christine Miller-Betts, as well as the museum staff, and we loved her equally. Thank you, Mrs. Queenie Lawton, for decades of service and love to the Augusta community! You will be missed!
