In recognition of the 51st anniversary of the uncovering and ending of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, Augusta University Institutional Review Board in conjunction with the Laney Museum, sponsored, the community forum luncheon to discuss the concerns of African Americans participating in medical research. In March, the community luncheon highlighted local black women in the medical field. Both events were well attended and attendees were given a wealth of information.
