Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History
Join the Lucy Craft Laney Museum as we celebrate and discuss an amazing piece of Augusta’s African American history: The Sportsman’s Boat Club. Organized in 1959 and incorporated in 1960, the Sportsman’s Boat Club was established to provide an outlet for the recreational needs of African Americans during the Jim Crow era.
Cost is $15 and includes lunch.
