This year, the Lucy Craft Laney museum released its first-ever historical monthly calendar, entitled: Augusta Achievers: Celebrating Augusta’s Black History. The calendar profiled some of Augusta’s outstanding citizens. The honorees for the 2026 edition of the Augusta Achievers calendar will be announced in November, and the calendar will be released in November just in time for holiday gift purchases.
