60th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s visit to Tabernacle

This past weekend the historic Tabernacle Baptist Church, in conjunction with Reverend Lerone Wilder, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Religion at Newberry College, hosted an in-depth panel discussion on the 60th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s visit to Tabernacle.

The panel and participants included (l-r) Mr. Corey Rogers, Historian, Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, Commissioner Jordan Johnson, Paine College Professor Jeffrey Jones, Moderator Ms. Priscilla Gary, Reverend Lerone Wilder, Ph.D., CME minster Reverend Larry Fryer and Dr. Charles Goodman, Senior Pastor, Tabernacle Baptist Church.  The panel discussion took place in the Tabernacle Family Life Center.
